Uploading Drill plan and MWD files in Strayos

To upload MWD files to Strayos, users will need their files in XML format from the Drill, along with a drill plan file. Navigate to the MWD Drill Data > Smart Drill Analytics. 

 

 

Next, select Upload Smart Drill Files: 


First, you will upload a drill plan file in the first box, followed by the MWD files below. It is important to select the matching coordinate system at the bottom so the files align with your 3D model. 

 


 

Once Processed, your files will be visible in both 2D and 3D, with Data Visualization, with the option to view Drill plan along with the MWD Data. 

 

  • Note: To project the Drill Plan file in a accurate location in the map; EPSG code entered must be correct  value. To modify the saved EPSG follow the same procedure.
