Stockpile Measurement Using Segmentation AI tool

Strayos provides the option for users to use the Segmentation AI tool for stockpile and measurement boundary detection. Read below on how to use the SAI tool:


Click on SAI ( Segmentation tool) in the upper toolbar. Note: When clicking on the SAI, it will save the current model view that is being displayed. Ensure your model is positioned in the area you need before selecting the SAI. 

Click on the Stockpile that you want to Segment and Quantify. Users can select "Shift + Click" to remove any segments or areas.

 Click here to Approve segment:

 Click "Stockpile" or "Measurements":

Click "Name" to label your Stockpile:

Click here to select the material type:

Click "Convert" to save the segment and move to the next:

Click on the next stockpile you may want to quantify, and follow the same procedure as listed above: 













Click "Save" when completed. 

Once SAI is completed, users can manually click and edit the stockpile boundaries if needed.

The volume and tonnage will be adjusted automatically following your modification.

Right-click on each stockpile to see other options needed 

Click "Measurements" to have access to the hidden stockpile segment. The "Measurements" are where all measurements are stored. Stockpiles will be stored in the Stockpile Module.  

Additionally, users can click "Visualization" to visualize the stockpile in 3D.
