Importing and Exporting Data from AutoCAD (Autodesk)
Users who are using Autodesk CAD products (C3D) in parallel with Strayos can import and export data through the import and export commands within CAD.
To Import:
Select the "Insert" tab on the upper toolbar, and select "import".
This will open up a file explorer where users can select the file and type that they are looking to bring into their CAD project:
Specifically, if there are points that are looking to be brought in, the "Points from File" command should be used:
To Export:
Users can export their files from C3D using the drop-down in the upper-right-hand corner, pictured below:
Here, users can select the file type they would like to export. If exporting into Strayos, a DXF will need to be selected.
