Save time by duplicating a shot plan across multiple projects.
If looking to copy a drill plan to a new project follow the steps below. This workflow is especially helpful when a blast has been shot, and users are looking to copy the existing pattern to a new model.
In the original project, navigate to the Drill and Blast Module. Here you will see a "COPY" button on the upper left hand corner.
Select the project which you are looking to copy the design into.
Note: make sure the destination project is also georeferenced correctly so holes come into the correct location.
If there is a current design in the destination project, it will be overwritten by the copied design.
Next, navigate to the project which you have copied your pattern into and you will see it within the drill design.
Another helpful tool can be the use of offsets, where measurements can be made on the model to also copy from project to project.
As seen below, the project's blast design has a back row line measurement and point measurements made on the model.
These measurements can also be copied from one project to another, to mark where patterns were before blasting the bench. Copying these measurements onto new face profiles can then be used for offset markers when designing new blast patterns.
Under Measurements, scroll to the appropriate measurement which you would like to copy.
Under the details of that measurement, select "Copy to Another Project" and select the project from the drop down.
